What a year!

I never knew if I could enjoy that much a walk on a sunny or snowy day,
I never knew if I could be that excited with the idea of sitting in the parc and devouring books.
This year I have realized that there is a deeper truth in books than  what you can find on social media.
I cannot even imagine that it is me who is saying this.

To put you in the context, the first time I read a book on my initiative ( not as an assignment) was when I finished highschool.
Hey don’t blame me, it was not the last time though.

All this to say that
2021 has been great in its unique way.
As I was reflecting back, I testify that I have seen the goodness of God in the most unexpected ways.
He has turned around for good what was meant to harm,
He has smoothed the rocky road.
When fear was tossing me like a whirlwind,
He brought me peace and clarity.
I have seen a blazing glory
In what I labelled at first sight “ugly”,
I have experienced on another level the meaning of unfathomable peace and inexhaustible joy.

Sometimes all we need is just to sit down and be reminded of the goodness of God.
Take time to celebrate the small victories knowing that they lead to bigger ones.

They say that one drop in the ocean is unsignificant,
But we often forget that even the ocean itself is just a drop in a hole.

All this to say that every step you made was worth.
It contributed to be where you are today .
Your life is not just one drop in the ocean but an ocean in a drop,
For the potential God put in you is endless.

Celebrate the small wins!
Don’t neglect the small beginnings!

My prayer for this year, is that God unlocks the wisdom in us
To know what needs to be ended and the strength to let it go gently.
To spot What needs a chance to be planted and to allow it to bloom unapologetically.
To discern what needs space to grow and to grant it the possibility to flourish and to evolve relentlessly.
